HIIT: Stranded in Zaruma is a third-person platformer adventure game set in a distant planet. The player controls a robot called HIIT that crash-landed from space on Zaruma. He must acquire his skills throughout the game and use them to explore the planet in order to fix his ship to escape.
This game is inspired by the Metroid Prime games, but imagined in third person and with retro visuals.

Interconnected areas an puzzles, backtracking and unlocking skills are core aspects of the game. With a big focus on the mechanics to interact with the world. Giving the player the sense of accomplishment, progress and joy to explore are the goals that guide the development of this game.
The tone and mood of the game sits between the relaxed gameplay of a platformer but having a serious and mysterious mood. The environment and music have a pleasant vibe of adventure but at the same time is alien and futuristic.
The overall visual design is planned to be just pleasant enough for the player and at the same time is simple enough to build fast with focus on the content and challenges.
